Lamplighter Magzine is a New Jersey-based publication covering the best music, art, poetry, nightlife, and intriguing NJ culture. Being that the Garden State is sandwiched between the cultural centers of NYC and Philadelphia, we Jerseyans have unfortunately been defined by the shore, diners, and some loud-mouthed kids from Staten Island on television. Lamplighter Magazine is here to change the definition by showcasing true New Jersey culture.
In connecting the various and far-flung artistic scenes, this magazine hopes to establish a decentralized roof under which musicians, poets, artists, organizations — everyone and anyone — can collaborate. Rather than blindly accept a need to wander to the city, Lamplighter is carrying the torch to show that great things are happening just around the block.
